The B-21 Raider: Capabilities, Features and Cost

The B-21 Raider, the World’s first sixth-generation aircraft, was unveiled on December 2 at Northrop Grumman’s facility in Palmdale, California, in conjunction with the US Air Force.

The new American fighter, the B-21, was described by its constructors as the future of deterrence and will form the backbone of future US air power to maintain air dominance while meeting the long-term operations and sustainment affordability requirements.

The B-21 Raider, so named in honor of the Doolittle Raid of World War II, will be a dual-capable penetrating strike stealth bomber capable of carrying conventional and nuclear weapons.
